THURSDAY, April 5th - Full Moon Tour of Ash Cave - 8pm; Ash Cave holds many mysteries for the twilight hiker. Join the Naturalist in the parking lot area to explore Ash Cave by the light of the full moon and learn its uniqueness first hand. Mother Nature supplies the light; you supply the imagination. FRIDAY, April 6th - Get Hooked on Rotary - FREE Family Fishing Day - 10am to 2pm; Come drop your line in at Rose Lake on the day of the annual stocking the trout! A great family bonding experience. Get a visitor pass at the drive-thru window, park at the campground swimming pool and walk to Rose Lake Dam. FREE

FRIDAY, April 6th - Karaoke Night at the Brass Ring - 9pm to 1am; Once defined as a form of torture or "Japanese Horror", karaoke is guaranteed to get you out of your shell and make you laugh till your sides ache. Come with your friends or come alone and make new friends. Karaoke Night at the Brass Ring will entertain you as you entertain others. SATURDAY, April 7th - Bunny Hop Shop Hop; Are you looking for a unique way to celebrate Easter this year? Check out this event being organized by our friends at Scenic Way Gifts and The Wind Chime Shop. When Peter Cottontail comes hopping down the bunny trail, several local businesses are hoping that visitors will hop into their stores for the first ever Bunny Hop Shop Hop. The event will be held on April 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ticket holders will receive an Easter basket which they can take to more than a dozen participating businesses. At each stop they will receive a candy treat and some surprises along the way. Participating businesses who have signed up so far include Scenic Way Gifts and Art Glass Studio, Christmas Treasures, Wind Chime Shop, Gills Family Pharmacy, Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls, Pumpkin Ridge Quilts and Repair, Vinton County Floral, Weavers Tree and Antiques, Zaleski Candleworks, Equestrian Ridge Riding Stable, Flutes and Peppercorns Mobile Kitchen (The Gourmet Peddler) and Hocking Hills Scenic Air Tours. Tickets cost $20 each and include the basket, candy, discounts and a voucher for lunch from Chef Mary's Gourmet Peddler. The box lunch will include potato soup, chicken salad, fruit salad, drink and dessert and will be available from noon to 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased with Visa or Mastercard at Scenic Way Gifts and Art Glass Studio, the Wind Chime Shop. SATURDAY, April 7th - Wonders of Old Man's Cave - 10am; Meet the Naturalist at the Naturalists' Cabin, behind Old Man's Cave Visitor Center, for a short hike to discover some facts about the history of the area and the rock formations that are found throughout the park. SATURDAY, April 7th - Easter Bunny Train - 10am & 1pm; After a pleasant ride on the train, all riders get to take part in an action-packed Easter egg hunt. Divided by age groups, the Easter egg hunt features lots of prizes and candy. This train is scheduled to depart at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012. The ride and egg hunt last approximately 2 hours. Each adult ticket includes one child ticket. Each additional child (age 3-12) must have an extra child ticket purchased. Children under three ride free regardless, but must sit on a lap. Advanced reservations are not required, but these are incredibly popular and sell out fast. SATURDAY, April 7th - Wild Weekend Discovery Series - 10am, noon & 2pm; The public is invited to bring your children and enjoy a fun-filled, one hour educational program designed for kids preschool to 5th grade. Sherry Hartzler, author of Three Moons over Sedona and Island Passage, will guide you through those first pages of your novel. Learn how to grab the reader's attention in that first paragraph. Create "hooks" that make your novel a real "page turner."
